Abstract. Structures which can change shape without strain under various changing loads are called "Unstable Structures" and their main characteristic is the existence of rigid body displacement without strain which is here examined by using the kinematic relationship. In addition, the shape-finding process from the initial shape to the final stable shape is traced under each given load.
