Abstract. A simple model which explains the maximum size (or weight) and the relationship between the lifespan and the weight is proposed. The cells and the subunits of creatures are assumed to have finite lifetimes and the density of the cells or subunits is a parameter. The longer the lifetime of cells or subunits, the larger creature is created.
