Theory on the Brownian Motion of Charged Colloids

Abstract. In this paper, the equation for the Brownian motion of charged Colloids has been derived in a salt-free system, where the charge effects are dominant by dealing with their diffusion process. The result shows that the time (t) dependence on the average of q² (q is the colloid position) is t^2/3-like, very different from the Einstein-Smoluchowski equation.
