Abstract. A simple model of fragmentation is studied by numerical simulations. We consider the bond-percolation model with simple cubic lattice, and assume that fragmentation process occurs stochastically. Mass distribution of fragments at critical probability shows power-law distribution. In DE-dimensional system (DE = 2 or 3), the scaling exponent is obtained as a large one (D DE). The phenomena with such a large scaling exponent have been reported, however, have not been explained by the other numerical simulations.
