Abstract. As an example of “automatic algorithms” imitating human discrimination by persons with specialized knowledge and skills based on their sensory information in accordance with the empirical rule not clearly written, we developed algorithms imitating visual assessments to evaluate REM sleep not accompanied by a decrease in muscle activity.
